Chris - "This is who I am and what I am capable of in this moment." --> this is such a powerful point and one I'm continuously learning. This process (damn that freaking process) is EVERYTHING and is what helps us to truly accept ourselves for who we are at this given moment in time. Thanks for sharing your process with us - it certainly helps me and serves as a much-needed reminder.
Grace - so glad it helps you! I think we are continuously learning it because we always know we are capable of more if given the time and resources, so we forget to be present in our current self. I know that's how it is for me me. I think that's part of why I've been so obsessed with liminality lately - I'm realizing that no destination or state of being is permanent and so we must embody process in order to accept ourselves as we are. But in that process we learn more about ourselves and grow (like you with running, loved that Sketch btw!).
